Requirements: Compatible with iPhone and iPod touch. Requires iOS 4.0 or later. WiFi, Edge, or 3G network connection sometimes required.

I love this app. The appearance and UI is very nice. I just wish the Templates feature worked for me. It was the only real reason I chose this app over the other diary apps out there.

It's very nice but it should atleast have font color and font type. Also y does it only let u put in a fraction of da photo? It should come in full view! Also plz put in diff backgrounds, it's boring wid just 1Thanx and plz try 2 add the above!

It is a very nice, attractive, easy to use diary program.

This is a great app. I have the auto lock feature on, and after I leave the app and leave my iPod on my bed, my brother comes and tries to read what I had written. He can never get my password, so my private things are safe. I've tried other apps like this, but none are as good as this.

Secret Diary supports password resetting, but for secure reasons we can't publish instruction here. Please contact us to get the instruction.

How can I share my entries to Facebook, Twitter, etc?

Secret Diary supports sharing to email, Facebook and Posterous services. If you want to share entries to other services, use Posterous account (it supports all common social networks).

How can I change a theme of the diary?

Secret Diary supports themes and contains a theme store. Open a smart toolbar of the app (button with a triangle in a square) and select the latest tab (a bucket icon). There are themes available for selection or purchasing in this tab.

We're working on the newer features: you will could select different themes for each entry, also there will be a lot of new themes (some of them will be FREE!)

How create a backup?
  1. Open Secret Diary, open Settings menu
  2. Select 'Backup & Restore' menu
  3. Click on 'Backup Now' button

But don't forget to DOWNLOAD the backup to your computer using iTunes (to prevent from loose):

  1. Connect your device to iTunes
  2. Select the device in iTunes
  3. Select an Apps tab, scroll to down
  4. You will see a File Sharing menu of your device, select Secret Diary app
  5. Select the recent backup and download it to the computer

You can restore the backup of the entries using this instruction but with reverse order.

Why I can't transfer my entries to the newer device?
  1. Create a backup of the entries on the older device
  2. Download the backup to the computer using iTunes (see a previous instruction)
  3. Connect newer device to iTunes, upload the backup to this device
  4. Open Settings menu of Secret Diary on the newer device, select 'Backup & Restore'
  5. Select the recent backup and restore to it

    Animate your entry with a picture of an event. You can also create the whole gallery. In Secret Diary you'll never make your hands dirty with glue:).

  • MAPS.
    They say, if you forget something, you should return to the place where you thought about it. Secret Diary remembers the locations, where you were writing your entries and you can always 'return' there due to built-in browser of Google maps.

  • AUTOSAVE.
    When you write a new entry, someone will call you without fail. A built-in feature of autosave in short periods of time saves everything you have written, in oder to protect data from the loss.

  • SHARING.
    Sometimes you want to share your thoughts with your friends. There is a special built-in module of export. You can share one or several messages via e-mail or Posterous. Before sending an entry do not forget that the message may contain your private information.

  • PASSWORD.
    Let nobody think that it is easy to read you private life. Built-in password protect system and quick lock button watch over your data.

  • BACKUP.
    From time to time make backup of your entries, in order to be sure, that no firmware update or anything else can delete your data. You may always restore the entries due to iTunes and your computer. Secret Diary also has an EMERGENCY restore, in case something happen to your database.
